Class Action Filing Deadlines

Every open settlement, sorted by deadline. Postmark date, not received date — but mail with a 7-day buffer just in case.

How to read deadlines: "Deadline: October 15" almost always means "postmarked by October 15." If you mail last-minute you may not get through on time — USPS marks the postmark when they scan, not when you drop it in the box. The Class Action Buddy app mails with a 7-day buffer to guarantee on-time delivery.

The full deadline calendar

Our interactive deadline calendar shows every open settlement chronologically, filterable by no-proof / with-proof and by category. Or use the app for push notifications 30, 14, and 7 days before each deadline you qualify for.

What happens if you miss a deadline?

You lose eligibility. Late claims are almost always rejected without appeal — the settlement fund has to be distributed to the on-time claimants and there is no reserve for stragglers. In rare cases the court grants a brief extension (typically 30-60 days after the original deadline) if there is a demonstrable notice failure by the settlement administrator, but do not count on it.

The Class Action Buddy app sets calendar reminders and mails with a buffer specifically because "I forgot" is the #1 reason people miss free money.
