Who Is Eligible?
You may be eligible to file a claim if you:
- You bought one of these models new in the US: iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16, 16e, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, or 16 Pro Max
- You bought it between 10 June 2024 and 29 March 2025
- No other iPhone models qualify — an iPhone 14 or an iPhone 16 bought outside that window is not eligible
- No receipt is required. You provide the phone's serial number (Settings > General > About) instead, which the administrator checks against Apple's own purchase records
- If you no longer have the serial number, you can instead give your Apple Account email and the phone number used with that iPhone
- This pays per device — if you bought two eligible iPhones, you file a separate claim for each one
How Much Can You Get?
The published range is $25 to $95 per eligible iPhone. $25 is the floor; the figure rises toward $95 if fewer people file, and falls if more do, since the $250 million fund is shared among however many valid claims come in.
