Tyson Foods and Cargill have agreed to pay a combined $87.5 million ($55M from Tyson, $32.5M from Cargill) to settle a class action lawsuit alleging the companies conspired to fix the prices of beef products, causing consumers to overpay.

The case, In re: Cattle and Beef Antitrust Litigation (Case No. 0:22-MD-3031), was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
