CVS Digital Privacy Settlement: Up to $5 Without Proof

Who Is Eligible?

You may be eligible to file a claim if you:

• The class is every living person who accessed a CVS digital property in the United States before 27 July 2026. That is the court's wording, and it is deliberately wide — the CVS App, the CVS website and www.cvshealth.com are all named.
• You do not need to have bought anything. Accessing the app or the site is the test. No purchase, no account, no prescription required.
• You must have been a US resident at the time. The attestation on the claim form asks you to declare that specifically, separately from declaring that you used the site.
• One claim per household, and the rest are denied. The settlement defines a household as everyone residing at the same mailing address. If two people at your address both file, the later one is rejected rather than reduced — so agree who is claiming before anyone starts.
• Proof, if you want the larger payment, means something showing you were there before 27 July 2026: browser history, a dated screenshot, or an email receipt from an online CVS order.
• You do not need an ID from a letter. The form has a "Login ID" box marked if known, so it is optional. Nobody is shut out for never having received a notice.
• Claims can be audited. The form states they may be subject to audit, verification and review by the court, and you sign under penalty of perjury. Only claim the no-proof option if you did in fact use the app or the site.

How Much Can You Get?

CVS is making up to $20.5 million available, and the claim form is explicit about the order things come out of it: court-approved attorneys' fees and costs first, then service awards to the named plaintiffs, then the cost of administering the settlement. What is left funds the payments.

There are two options and you pick exactly one.

• Payment A — up to $10, with proof. You attach something showing you used a CVS digital property before 27 July 2026.
• Payment B — up to $5, no proof at all. No documentation, no explanation.

Never claim both. The form offers them as a single choice, and Payment B is written for people who cannot document Payment A.

Both figures are ceilings, and both are pro-rata. The form says either amount "may be reduced proportionately depending on the number of valid claims submitted". The class is effectively anyone in the country who opened the CVS app or website, so the number of claims could be very large and the realistic payment is likely to be under the cap. No per-person figure has been published, and anyone quoting you one is guessing.

How you get paid depends on how you file. A mailed claim is paid by check to the address on the form. PayPal, Venmo and Zelle are available only if you file online.

How to File Your Claim

File with the administrator:

• Decide first whether you can document it. If you have browser history, a dated screenshot or an online order confirmation from before 27 July 2026, Payment A is worth up to $10. If not, Payment B needs nothing.
• Check nobody else at your address is filing. One claim per household, and a second one from the same mailing address is denied outright.
• File online at CVSDigitalPrivacySettlement.com if you want PayPal, Venmo or Zelle. The online cutoff is 11:59 p.m. Eastern on 16 November 2026.
• Or mail the form to CVS Digital Privacy Settlement, PO Box 1110, Costa Mesa, CA 92628. A mailed claim must be postmarked by 16 November 2026 and is paid by check.
• Fill in name, address, email and phone. The Login ID box says if known and can be left empty.
• Tick one payment box only — A with proof attached, or B without.
• Read the attestation before signing. You are declaring, under penalty of perjury, that you accessed a CVS digital property in the United States before 27 July 2026, that you were a US resident at the time, and that any documents you attached are your own.
• You also confirm you have read CVS's privacy disclosures at the CVS Health Privacy Center, which the form links directly.
