Who Is Eligible?
You may be eligible to file a claim if you:
- You purchased a new Passport Western Edition travel trailer from a Keystone-authorized dealership in California.
- The purchase happened before December 1, 2019.
- The trailer's serial number sequentially ends after HX414101.
- You currently own the trailer.
- The trailer actually has wood roof trusses — not the steel trusses Keystone advertised. This is a real requirement: you must confirm it and prove it.
- If you own more than one qualifying trailer, submit a separate claim for each.
How Much Can You Get?
The judgment sets a fixed payment: $2,000 for each qualifying trailer. The total fund is $3,107,000, structured to pay up to 541 class members $2,000 apiece, alongside $2,000,000 in attorneys' fees and costs, a $25,000 service award to the lead plaintiff, and a solar-panel installation on that plaintiff's trailer. Because the payment is a flat $2,000 rather than a pro-rata split, your check does not shrink based on how many people claim. The settlement administrator, Epiq, mails checks to the address on your claim form. Payments are scheduled to go out by October 2, 2026, after the August 28 claim deadline. One important catch: you must cash your check within 90 days of issuance. If you do not, Keystone gets to keep the money. How to File Your Claim
File with the administrator:
- File your claim by August 28, 2026 — either online at the official settlement website, keystonepassportclassaction.com, or by downloading, completing, and mailing the PDF claim form.
- Prove you currently own the trailer with any one of: a current vehicle registration, a certificate of title, DMV records, or proof of current insurance.
- Confirm your trailer has wood roof trusses. You can check by removing the screws from a vent in the bathroom and visually inspecting the trusses inside; if Keystone disputes your claim, be ready to provide photos or video showing the wood.
- Submit a separate claim form for each qualifying trailer you own.
- Mail paper claims to the Keystone Passport Class Action Judgment Administrator, PO Box 3219, Portland, OR 97208-3219, or contact the administrator at 877-239-7718 or info@KeystonePassportClassAction.com with questions.

How much can I receive from the Keystone RV $3.1M Passport Trailer Class Action Settlement?

Do I need documentation for the Keystone RV $3.1M Passport Trailer Class Action Settlement?
Yes — this settlement requires supporting documentation, and what counts is set out on the official claim form rather than being the same in every case: a consumer case may ask for receipts or order confirmations, while a financial or data-breach case usually turns on account records or the notice the administrator sent you. Note: some settlements still require a Claimant ID or PIN from a mailed notice; if this one does, it will be shown on the official claim form.
How do I file a claim for the Keystone RV $3.1M Passport Trailer Class Action Settlement?
File directly with the settlement administrator, using the official claim form linked on this page. Class Action Buddy does not support this settlement in the app, so the administrator’s own claim process is the route. Check whether the form asks for an ID or PIN from the notice you were sent before you start.
Who qualifies for the Keystone Passport trailer settlement?
California owners of a new Passport Western Edition trailer bought from a Keystone-authorized dealer before December 1, 2019, with a serial number ending after HX414101, who still own the trailer and whose trailer has wood (not steel) roof trusses.
How do I know if my Keystone Passport trailer has wood roof trusses?
You can check by removing the screws from a vent in the bathroom and visually inspecting the trusses inside. Wood trusses qualify; the advertised steel trusses do not. If Keystone disputes your claim, you may need to provide photos or video of the wood trusses.

A flat $2,000 per qualifying trailer, from a $3,107,000 fund covering up to 541 owners. If you own more than one qualifying trailer, you file a separate claim for each.
What is the Keystone Passport claim deadline?
You must file your claim by August 28, 2026. The administrator, Epiq, plans to mail checks by October 2, 2026, and you must cash your check within 90 days or Keystone keeps the funds.
What proof do I need for the Keystone Passport claim?
Proof that you currently own the trailer — a current vehicle registration, certificate of title, DMV records, or proof of insurance — plus confirmation that your trailer has wood roof trusses.
What was the Keystone RV Passport lawsuit about?
Guisinger v. Keystone RV Co. alleged Keystone advertised its Passport Western Edition trailers as having 5-inch crowned/stamped galvanized steel roof trusses but built some with wood trusses, violating California consumer-protection laws. Keystone denied the allegations, but a $3.11 million judgment was entered.
