Lands’ End Data Breach Class Action Settlement

Who Is Eligible?

You may be eligible to file a claim if you:

• You are in the class if Lands' End's own records identify you as someone whose private information was caught in the December 2024 Data Incident. This is a records-based class — the notice found you, rather than you having to prove a purchase.
• You reside in the United States.
• Class members were sent notice directly, carrying a Login ID and PIN for the claim form and a separate enrolment code for the credit monitoring.
• Excluded: Lands' End and its directors and officers; governmental entities; the judge assigned to the action, that judge's immediate family and court staff; and anyone who validly opts out by 7 October 2026.
• No purchase record or proof of shopping with Lands' End is needed. If you cannot find your notice, the administrator will reissue your ID and PIN if you email your full name and mailing address.

How Much Can You Get?

There are two cash options and you may have one of them, not both.

Cash Payment B, the alternate payment, is expected to be $60. No proof, no explanation, no receipts. This is the realistic figure for this settlement and what most claimants will take.

Cash Payment A covers documented out-of-pocket losses up to $5,000, for costs incurred between 6 December 2024 and 22 October 2026. It reaches losses from identity theft or fraud, fees for credit reports or for freezing and unfreezing your credit, the cost of replacing IDs, and postage to write to banks. You must send bank statements or receipts. Your own written notes can support that evidence but never stand in for it, and anything a third party already paid back does not count.

So the $5,000 is a reimbursement ceiling, not a payment anyone receives for turning up. If you have no documented loss, it is not available to you at all. That distinction is why this page does not lead with it.

Separately from the cash, every class member gets two years of CyEx Financial Shield Complete, which carries a million dollars of financial fraud insurance and watches for identity theft, unauthorised transactions and high-risk use of your details. Enrolment codes went out by postcard, and the cover switches on once the settlement is final.

How to File Your Claim

You will need the Claim ID and PIN printed on the notice the administrator sent you. This settlement is not open to anyone who simply believes they qualify.

• Find the notice Lands' End sent you. The Login ID and PIN are printed at the top of it and the online claim form will not open without them. No notice to hand? Email info@LandsEndDataSettlement.com with your full name and mailing address and the administrator will reissue them.
• Decide which cash option you are taking before you start. B is the $60 alternate payment and needs nothing from you. A is reimbursement up to $5,000 and needs bank statements or receipts covering losses between 6 December 2024 and 22 October 2026.
• Claim the credit monitoring as well. It does not cost you either cash option, and your enrolment code arrived separately by postcard.
• File online at landsenddatasettlement.com, or download the paper claim form and send it with your documentation to Lands' End Data Incident Settlement, c/o Settlement Administrator, P.O. Box 25226, Santa Ana, CA 92799-9958. Email submissions go to the same address above.
• Online and email claims are due 22 October 2026. A posted form must carry a postmark no later than that date.
• Two earlier dates are already close: opting out or objecting both close on 7 October 2026. The Final Approval Hearing is 6 November 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Central.
