Who Is Eligible?

You may be eligible to file a claim if you:

• People who had lab testing through a participating Planned Parenthood center. LSC did the testing behind the scenes, so your record was with LSC even though you never dealt with them.
• Current and former LSC employees. Staff records were caught up in the same incident.
• Anyone who paid for another person’s testing. If the bill was yours, you are covered even if the appointment was not.
• Thirty states and the District of Columbia. Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming and Washington, DC. Not every center in those places used LSC.
• No notice letter needed. Plenty of people never got one, or lost it. The administrator matches the names on claims against its own records, so a missing Notice ID does not stop you.

How Much Can You Get?

The fund is $6,100,000, and the cash part is shared pro rata with a ceiling of $1,000 per person. Pro rata means the size of your payment depends on how many people file, so nobody can promise you a figure.

After attorneys’ fees, service awards and the cost of running the settlement come out, somewhere around $3 million to $3.5 million is left to divide. Class members number about 1.6 million. Filing rates on a claim like this one tend to run low, because submitting it means disclosing a Planned Parenthood visit, and that is the main reason a realistic payment lands well above what 1.6 million even shares would suggest.

Two years of CyEx Medical Shield Complete is offered as well, and it is a separate choice rather than an alternative to the cash.

Documented out-of-pocket losses are a different claim. Those pay up to $5,000 but need paperwork proving what the breach cost you, and they are handled on the official settlement site rather than in the app.

How to File Your Claim

File with the administrator:

• Know what filing says about you before you start. A claim on this settlement discloses that you, or someone you paid for, attended a Planned Parenthood center. That is unavoidable in any route, including the official one. It is worth deciding how you feel about that first.

• The health answers are deleted after 14 days. The app asks for the consent Washington law requires, keeps the answers only long enough to print and mail your form, then removes them. What we do with health information is set out in our consumer health privacy policy.
• Pick a health center from the list. The app carries the centers for all 31 places LSC served, and takes free text too, because some centers have closed since the breach.
• Choose how you want paying. PayPal to an email address, Venmo to a mobile number, Zelle to either, or a paper check in the post.
• The Notice ID is optional. Enter it if you kept the letter. If not, file anyway.
• Claims close November 24, 2026. Filing through the app closes on November 17 instead, because we allow seven days for printing and postage so your form arrives in time.
