Not sure if this settlement applies to you?
Take our 60-second eligibility quiz to find every settlement you qualify for — including this one.
Who Is Eligible?
You may be eligible to file a claim if you:
- Trustee settlement. You bought SFM tokens directly from SafeMoon US, LLC between March 8, 2021 and November 1, 2023, or you saw a solicitation published by SafeMoon US and bought because of it.
- Jake Paul settlement. Same dates, but the purchase was direct from Jake Paul, or prompted by a solicitation he published.
- Daniel M. Keem settlement. Same again for Keem, the YouTuber known as Keemstar.
- You can be in more than one. If a promotion is what put you into SFM, you may qualify for a named settlement as well as the trustee one — and each takes its own claim.
- Already filed in the bankruptcy? A timely proof of claim filed on or before July 22, 2024 means no Class Claim form is needed for the trustee settlement. It does not cover the other two.
How Much Can You Get?
The trustee settlement carries an estimated $12 million in cash, and the notice refers to a possible further settlement fund after that. It is a distribution from the Chapter 7 estate of SafeMoon US, LLC rather than a fixed per-person payment, so no individual figure is published.
Neither the Jake Paul nor the Keem notice puts a dollar amount on the settlement website. Any specific number you see quoted for those two is somebody’s guess.
What you receive depends on what you can establish through the Proof of Claim and on how many valid claims arrive. Nobody can tell you a figure in advance, and that is a feature of how bankruptcy distributions work rather than evasiveness.
How to File Your Claim
File with the administrator:
- Work out which of the three apply to you before you file anything. Buying through SafeMoon itself, buying off the back of a Jake Paul promotion, and buying off the back of a Keemstar promotion are separate questions with separate answers.
- File each one separately. There is no combined form. The trustee claim does not carry across.
- Submit at safemoonsettlement.com, which is run by Stretto, or post the Proof of Claim and Release Form.
- Everything closes November 9, 2026. Mailed forms must be postmarked by then; online submissions must be in by then.
- The approval hearing is October 22, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. before Judge David Barlow at the Orrin G. Hatch United States Courthouse, 351 South West Temple, Salt Lake City. You do not have to attend to receive a distribution.
- The bankruptcy is Case No. 23-25749 (Bankr. D. Utah), and the settlements were ordered by the United States District Court for the District of Utah.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the deadline to file a claim for the SafeMoon SFM Token Settlements (Trustee, Jake Paul, Keemstar)?
The current deadline to file a claim is Nov 09, 2026. Claims sent by mail must be postmarked by this date, so allow about a week for delivery if you are not filing online.
How do I file a claim for the SafeMoon SFM Token Settlements (Trustee, Jake Paul, Keemstar)?
File directly with the settlement administrator, using the official claim form linked on this page. Class Action Buddy does not support this settlement in the app, so the administrator’s own claim process is the route. You do not need a Claimant ID or PIN to file.
Do I have to file three separate claims?
If more than one applies to you, yes. The trustee settlement, the Jake Paul settlement and the Daniel M. Keem settlement each take their own claim form, and filing for one does not file you for the others. This is the single most likely thing to go wrong here.
I already filed a claim in the SafeMoon bankruptcy. Do I file again?
Not for the trustee settlement, provided your proof of claim was filed on or before July 22, 2024. The trustee or her advisors may come back for more information. That exemption does not apply to the Jake Paul or Keem settlements, which still need their own claims.
How much will I get?
No per-person figure exists. The trustee settlement is an estimated $12 million distribution from the bankruptcy estate, shared according to valid claims, and no amount is published for the other two settlements at all.
The hearing is before the claim deadline. Is that a mistake?
No. The approval hearing is October 22, 2026 and claims close November 9, 2026. That order is unusual but correct, and you do not need to attend the hearing to receive a distribution.
I bought SFM on an exchange, not from SafeMoon. Am I covered?
The class definitions turn on buying directly from SafeMoon US, Jake Paul or Daniel M. Keem, or buying because of a solicitation one of them published. Read the notices on the settlement site against your own circumstances before assuming either way.
