Edge cases people often ask about
Bought from a system integrator (e.g., your prebuilt PC came with Team Group RAM)? You qualify — but you may need to identify the part number. Bought through Amazon, Newegg, Micro Center, Best Buy, Microcenter, B&H, or any other US retailer? Qualifies. Bought directly from Team Group's website? Qualifies. Bought outside the US but had it shipped here? Likely doesn't qualify — eligibility is tied to US residency at purchase.
No-proof rules
Up to 5 qualifying purchases per household without proof of purchase. More than 5? You'll need receipts, Amazon order history screenshots, Newegg order confirmations, credit card statements, or PCPartPicker build logs. Most home builders and small-shop PC enthusiasts stick with the 5-unit no-proof maximum.
