Wiz Washington Job Posting Settlement
By the Class Action Buddy Editorial Team · Last reviewed November 5, 2026
Every write-up of this settlement leads with the same two words: no claim form. That is true, and it is also the reason people are going to miss the money.
Nothing gets paid until Simpluris can reach you. The court notice is blunt about it: if the administrator does not have a current mailing address or payment selection for you, the payment may never arrive. The date for fixing that is November 23, 2026, the same day as the opt-out and objection deadlines, and it is the only date in this settlement that asks anything of you. Your notice carries a Login ID and PIN for doing it online.
Two further things nobody mentions. The payments are classified as non-wage damages and reported on a 1099, so this is taxable income rather than a tidy check in the mail. And every settlement payment expires and becomes void 180 days after it is issued. An envelope left unopened on a kitchen counter until spring is a payment you no longer have.
The lawsuit is Alexander Floyd v. Wiz, Inc., No. 25-2-09082-5 SEA, in King County Superior Court before Judge Todd D. Tinker. Wiz denies it broke any law.

Who Is Eligible?
You may be eligible to file a claim if you:
- You applied for at least one job opening in the State of Washington with Wiz, Inc. between January 1, 2023 and September 24, 2026.
- The posting you answered did not disclose a wage scale or salary range, and/or a general description of benefits and other compensation. The claim is brought under RCW 49.58.110, Washington’s pay-transparency requirement.
- You do not have to have been hired, interviewed or even replied to. Applying is the whole test. Wiz’s own records identify the class, which is why notices arrived without anyone filing anything.
- Nothing here depends on where you live, only on the job opening having been in Washington.
How Much Can You Get?
An equal share of a $5,000,000 common fund. Not pro rata by salary, seniority or how many postings you answered — every class member who stays in receives the same amount.
What comes off the top. Class counsel is asking for $1,666,666.67 in fees, up to $10,000 in costs and a $25,000 service award for the named plaintiff, all from the fund. That leaves roughly $3.3 million before administration, divided equally. The administrator does not publish the class size, so any specific per-person figure you see quoted elsewhere is someone else’s estimate rather than a published number.
It is taxable. The notice states payments are characterized as non-wage damages and reported on a 1099. Budget accordingly.
It expires. Every settlement payment becomes void 180 days after the date it is issued. A check set aside and forgotten is money returned.
How to File Your Claim
File with the administrator:
- There is no claim form, and there is still a deadline. By November 23, 2026, make sure the administrator has a valid mailing address or your electronic payment selection. Use the Login ID and PIN printed on your notice at epoasettlementwi.com, or return the Address Form that came with it.
- Not sure you are in the class? Call Simpluris free on (888) 836-1293 or email info@EPOASettlementWI.com.
- Excluding yourself or objecting also closes November 23, 2026. Exclusion must be a signed letter by mail to the administrator; it cannot be done by phone or email, and group requests are not allowed. Objections must be filed with King County Superior Court and copied to both sides’ counsel.
- Final approval hearing is January 22, 2027 at 9:00 a.m. before Judge Todd D. Tinker, and it can be attended over Zoom. Payments follow approval and any appeals.
- Wiz will not retaliate. The notice says so directly: participating, not participating or objecting cannot affect your treatment as an applicant or employee.
- The case is Alexander Floyd v. Wiz, Inc., Case No. 25-2-09082-5 SEA, King County Superior Court, Washington.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the deadline to file a claim for the Wiz Washington Job Posting Settlement?
The current deadline to file a claim is Nov 23, 2026. Claims sent by mail must be postmarked by this date, so allow about a week for delivery if you are not filing online.
Do I need proof of purchase for the Wiz Washington Job Posting Settlement?
No proof of purchase is required — you can typically file based on a sworn statement, without receipts, photos, or product packaging. You also do not need a Claimant ID or PIN to file.
How do I file a claim for the Wiz Washington Job Posting Settlement?
File directly with the settlement administrator, using the official claim form linked on this page. Class Action Buddy does not support this settlement in the app, so the administrator’s own claim process is the route. You do not need a Claimant ID or PIN to file.
If there is no claim form, why is there a deadline?
Because payment depends on the administrator being able to reach you. The notice is explicit that if Simpluris does not hold a current mailing address, you may not receive your payment. November 23, 2026 is the date for confirming your address or choosing electronic payment. That is the one thing this settlement asks of you.
I applied but never heard back from Wiz. Am I still in?
Yes. The class is everyone who applied to a qualifying Washington job opening in the period. Being rejected, ignored or withdrawn makes no difference, and the law in question is about what the posting disclosed rather than what happened to your application.
Will this be taxed?
The notice characterizes the payments as non-wage damages reported on a 1099, so treat it as taxable income rather than a tax-free windfall. The settlement website also carries a consent form for electronic tax documents.
How long do I have to cash it?
180 days from the date of issuance, after which the payment expires and becomes void. This is worth knowing in advance because payments will not be issued until after the January 22, 2027 hearing and any appeals.
