Who Is Eligible?
You may be eligible to file a claim if you:
- You filed one or more disputes through LexisNexis Risk Solutions between March 13, 2022 and May 1, 2026
- You disputed information that LexisNexis had incorrectly linked to your CLUE report, or that did not belong to you or a member of your household
- LexisNexis responded that GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Co.) was the source of the disputed information
- You received a response stating the disputed information was "unverifiable" or "accurate," and it was not corrected or removed
- GEICO did not notify LexisNexis to correct or remove the information after your dispute
- You are included on the settlement class list GEICO generated (roughly 7,200 people)
How Much Can You Get?
The total settlement fund is $1,650,000. After attorneys' fees of $549,945, litigation costs of up to $10,000, a service award of up to $10,000, and administration costs, the remainder is split into equal shares for eligible class members. With roughly 7,200 class members, the estimated payment is about $150 per person, though the actual amount may be higher or lower depending on the final counts. You do not need to do anything to receive your share. Payments are issued after the court grants final approval and resolves any appeals. By default you will receive a check mailed to the address the administrator has on file, unless you elect a digital payment through the settlement portal. How to File Your Claim

If you are on the class list GEICO generated, the settlement administrator already has your information and will send your payment (estimated around $150) with no claim form and no proof required. What is a CLUE report and why does it matter here?
A CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) report, maintained by LexisNexis, is a record of your past insurance claims. The lawsuit alleged GEICO violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act by not correcting disputed CLUE information it had furnished, even after consumers disputed it.

An estimated $150 per person. Eligible class members split an equal share of the net settlement fund (the $1.65 million total minus attorneys' fees, costs, and a service award). With about 7,200 class members, the per-person amount comes out near $150, but the exact figure may vary.
