American Textile Co. has agreed to pay $750,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging Sealy-branded bedding products falsely advertised a 1,250 thread count.
The case, Santiago v. American Textile Co. Inc. (Case No. 2:23-cv-1811-CCW), was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. If you purchased Sealy 1,250 thread count bedding products between October 19, 2016, and October 30, 2025, you may be eligible for up to $40 without proof of purchase or more with receipts.
You may be eligible to file a claim if you:
With proof of purchase: $5 per item claimed on unlimited products.
Without proof of purchase: Up to $40 maximum (eight products at $5 each).
Payments may be reduced pro rata if claim volume exceeds available funds.
