Costa Del Mar is paying $23.9 million over its sunglass repair fees, and if you are in the class, the money comes to you automatically. The deal covers U.S. citizens outside Florida who bought non-prescription, non-promotional Costa sunglasses before January 1, 2018 and then paid Costa more than $11.95 to repair or replace them between April 3, 2015 and January 28, 2026 — the fees Costa charged when it decided damage came from accident, wear and tear, or misuse.
