It has to cover every cash payment, every reimbursement for documented out-of-pocket losses and lost time, the cost of the Identity Defense and Restoration Services, notice and administration costs, and whatever the court awards in attorneys’ fees and service awards.

- Documented out-of-pocket losses and lost time — you supply the paperwork and claim what the breach actually cost you.
- An Alternative Cash Payment — a flat share instead, with no documentation. Its size depends on how many people claim it, which is exactly why nobody can quote it in advance.
One benefit is automatic and needs no claim at all: class members have already been issued an enrollment code for Identity Defense Services and Restoration Services, usable once the settlement is final. If you do nothing else, that is still yours.
