Looking for a settlement you can still file?
This one is closed, but our 60-second eligibility quiz finds the ones that are still open.
Who Was Eligible?
Who the settlement covered:
- You are in the United States and held an account with a FitOn Video Platform.
- You accessed at least one video between October 22, 2022 and May 29, 2026. Watching a single workout class in that window is enough.
- No proof of purchase, receipt or screenshot is required. FitOn is a free app; you claim by signing an attestation under penalty of perjury.
- You do not need to have received the notice email. The printable claim form asks for your Login ID only “if known” — it is optional. Only the online form requires a Login ID and PIN, and the administrator will send you yours if you ask.
- Excluded: FitOn itself, its officers, directors and affiliates, the judge and their immediate family and staff, and anyone who opts out.
- You probably do not qualify if you only downloaded the app and never watched a video, or if you used FitOn outside the United States. The court-approved notice sets the controlling terms.
How Much Did It Pay?
$10.00 per approved claim. It is a flat amount, not a range — but it can be reduced pro rata (meaning equally) if approved cash claims exceed the Net Settlement Benefit Cap of $2,500,000. That same fund also pays the cost of administration, notice, attorneys' fees and the class representative awards.
How you get paid depends on how you file. If you file online, you can elect PayPal or Venmo. If you mail the paper form — which is what Class Action Buddy does — the claim form states your payment will arrive as a check mailed to the address you gave. Checks expire 180 days after they are issued, so bank it promptly.
When: nobody is paid until after the Final Approval Hearing on October 6, 2026, and then only once any appeals are finished. Expect months, not weeks.
How this claim was filed
This settlement is closed, so the steps below are kept for reference only — they no longer lead anywhere you can file.
- Online, if you have your notice. Go to FitOnVPPASettlement.com and log in with the Login ID and PIN printed below your name in the settlement email. This is the only route that lets you choose PayPal or Venmo.
- Lost the notice, or never got one? Email info@FitOnVPPASettlement.com with your full name and mailing address and Simpluris will send your ID and PIN. Or skip it entirely and mail the form — the paper version asks for the Login ID only “if known”.
- By mail. Download the claim form from the official site, sign the attestation and post it to FitOn VPPA Settlement, c/o Settlement Administrator, P.O. Box 25191, Santa Ana, CA 92799. It must be postmarked by August 31, 2026.
- With Class Action Buddy. FitOn is live in our app: we fill the official form from your saved profile, you sign it, and the claim is printed and posted for you. Because it goes by mail, we stop accepting FitOn claims on August 24, 2026 — a 7-day buffer so your envelope is postmarked in time.
- Filing is free by every route. Questions go to Simpluris on (833) 421-7280. Nobody legitimate will ever charge you to file this claim.

How much can I receive from the FitOn $2.5M Video Privacy Class Action Settlement?
The maximum payout per eligible claimant is Up to $10. Actual payments may be lower depending on the total number of valid claims filed and the available settlement fund.
Did I need proof of purchase for the FitOn $2.5M Video Privacy Class Action Settlement?

Is the FitOn settlement real?
Yes. It resolves Ava Hoffman et al. v. FitOn, Inc., Index No. 542301/2025, before Justice Saul Stein in the New York Supreme Court for Kings County. The court authorized the notice, and the only official site is FitOnVPPASettlement.com, run by the administrator Simpluris.
How much does the FitOn settlement pay per person?
$10.00 per approved claim. That figure can drop pro rata if approved claims exceed the Net Settlement Benefit Cap of $2,500,000, so the final amount depends on how many people file.
What is the official FitOn settlement website?
FitOnVPPASettlement.com. It is the only court-authorized site for this case, and the administrator is Simpluris, reachable at info@FitOnVPPAsettlement.com or (833) 421-7280. Filing is free everywhere; no legitimate administrator asks for a fee.
Can I file if I never received the FitOn notice email?
Yes. The printable claim form asks for your Login ID only if known, so you can mail it without one. Only the online form requires a Login ID and PIN, and you can request yours by emailing info@FitOnVPPAsettlement.com with your full name and mailing address.
What is the deadline for the FitOn settlement?
August 31, 2026. Online claims must be submitted by that date and mailed claims must be postmarked by it. Class Action Buddy closes FitOn claims a week earlier, on August 24, 2026, so posted forms arrive with a valid postmark.
Do I need proof to claim the FitOn settlement?
No. FitOn is a free app and there is nothing to buy, so there are no receipts to produce. You sign an attestation under penalty of perjury that you had a FitOn account and watched a pre-recorded video between October 22, 2022 and May 29, 2026.
How will I be paid, and when?
If you file online you can choose PayPal or Venmo. If you mail the form, the claim form says payment arrives as a check to the address you provided, and checks void 180 days after issue. No payments go out until after the Final Approval Hearing on October 6, 2026 and any appeals.
